1. Draw enough sample into the syringe to fill the sample loop. If the sample loop is 10 microliters, draw at least 20 microliters into the syringe.
2. Make sure the injector is in the 'LOAD' position.
3. Insert the syringe into the injection port without pushing in the syringe plunger.
4. Once the syringe needle is seated all the way into the injection port, push in the plunger.
5. With the syringe plunger held in, turn the injector handle to the 'INJECT' position.
6. Remove the syringe from the injection port.
